Twelve Hymns on the Twelve Articles of the Apostle's Creed

One of our favorite hymns, "The Church's One Foundation," was taken
from this book, Lyra Fidelium, written by Samuel Stone in 1866. While there is no shortage
of sources who cite the fact "The Church's One Foundation" came from a book, I had to search for some time to find a copy
that I could check out of the library. And then it cost $20.00 just
to borrow it. Rev. Stone has given us a real treasure and I hope that
you will enjoy reading all twelve of his hymns as well has the parts of "The
Church's One foundation" that are left out of our hymn books.
